Overall
Awesome graphics. Quality construction. Different than what everybody else is riding. Supporting a small and growing company. Skis that rock. For the person that spends most of their time in the backcountry, this the obvious choice. Well done Epic Planks.
Performance
Yes, the Sherpas performed very well. Groomers, slop, powder, you name they handle it.
Design
Sick graphics. Awesome construction. As former racers, we put these to the test with many high speed top-bottom runs and they held up great. Also a nice change to have a different ski than everybody else on the lift.
Value
Good value. These feel like $900+ skis.
Fit
perfect, right to the cm
Characteristics
These skis are great. The ski is soft enough to let you pop up onto the fluff while being stiff enough to handle crud on the groomers. While the Sherpas may call the backcountry "home" they are certainly not afraid to rip some G's on the frontside. These will haul if you let them go.
Durability
Amazingly well. Except for the boulder hiding below the snow that decided to take a chomp out of the base. Overall, these are very solid.
