Great jacket, keeping it steezy all over the mountain, very warm too! It very high quality!
Performance
The B-Dog is a nice puffy down jacket, and the Insulation kept me very warm, even in -20- 25 degrees celsius, and with the zip off sleeves you can cool off easily. The waterproofing is ok, i would not use this jacket in very wet conditions as it would soak up.
Design
The jacket looks dope! It feels heavy the first time you put it on, but that is to be expected with a huge down jacket.
Value
Yes, but is a little bit overpriced.
Fit
I'm 5'7" and got the XL (34.5" zipper) and like the fit, nice and big :)
Durability
I used it all season long, no issues except for the zipper pull thing, a quick fix. The fabrics are very durable and strong.
This is a pretty pricy jacket, so as expected, it performs pretty well. The fit is pretty on point so that it's tall and puffy, yet it isn't bulk and in the way. It definitely gives you a good range of motion, and the advertised 10k/10k seems to be a lot higher than a lot of lower quality jackets advertising the same thing. It's also got about the perfect amount of poof, so unless I'm really working, I don't get to hot. If I do, REMOVABLE FUCKING SLEEVES, double as armpit ventilation.
Design
Couldn't be happier with the design, that's why I picked it up. It's super good looking imo, like something holden would make, but it's got the chill tall fit. Exactly what I'm looking for. The fabric is really neat, and it's super comfy on the inside.
Value
Probably a rip off for 350 or whatever the retail is considering it is a 10k jacket, but fuck retail, I payed 220. For that price, I'm pretty stoked on it, and they aren't too hard to find discounted like that if you're lurking the sell/trade forum.
If you can cop one for around 200, I'd say it's more than worth it.
Fit
The fit of ze b dog is pretty fucking sick bros, it's a little tall but not overdone. I've got the xl and it fit's perfect for what I want. Some kids have said that they don't like it as much as last years fit, I can't speak for that. The only thing that sucks is that the way the insulation is anchored, without the individual insulation pockets with stitching in between, it makes you look pretty fat. Wutever.
Durability
Haven't used it too much yet, only about 10 days, but so far there isn't a scratch on it, no holes or marks of any kind despite the fabric not feeling super burly. I've been skiing through a lot of early season shrubbery and brushing against trees, and it's holding up super well. The only thing that kinda pissed me off is the main zipper pull broke off ON THE FIRST FUCKING DAY. I'm over it though, it's still easy to zip, and it is to be expected as it's a really thin axe thing.
If you buy this the jacket, I guarantee your zipper pull will break, but besides that I dig it.
