I love my backpack as it still continues to perform like the day I got it. I would definitely buy product from Dakine again.
Performance
I originally bought this bag for everyday school usage with the occasional mountain trek, but this turned into an every trip pack. I had had a Burton Bag I had gotten for free that had been working out pretty good, but once I got the Pro II, I threw old bag at a homeless man who needed it. The Pro II is the best bag I have ever owned. It's pockets are vast and plentiful, the bag is well stitched and made, and its sexy as hell. It attaches on to you like an octopus and won't rattle around your back like some packs. Its very conformable to wear can withstand pretty much anything. The pockets are very well designed because they feature slots for mountain tools and a drain hole at the bottom in case snow gets in some how. The pack also features a ski and snowboard carry in 1.
Design
I love how Dakine designed this bag. It looks great no matter what is in it. The padding on the shoulders is just enough so its conformable yet not sticking out like a sore thumb. The only complaint is the back pocket for the ski carry. I wish they could have made better use of the space by putting in a horizontal pocket instead of a vertical one (which they did next model year) but the pocket that is there is definitely still usable.
Value
I got it on sale from Evogear for around $100, and I think it was worth every penny.
