I have already ridden this jacket in wet spring riding, rain/hail, and snowing (PNW), and it has held up better than I would have ever hoped. the jacket sheds snow but Rain WILL make the outer shell wet (but it never soaks through and dries very fast).
Also, even in 50+ degree riding I was still a comfortable temperature when I had the pit zips open...although it was quite hot when I was just standing around.
Design
The small things Spyder thinks of are incredible. The seams in high stress areas are not only double stitched but are held together with small metal rivets (visible in picture). There are so many useful and well placed pockets and the design is super fresh.
Value
The thing was (in 2008) pretty expensive but it is worth every penny.
Fit
The fit is excellent, Im 6'3-6'4 with the XXL and it fits about mid thigh (37in long including an about 1-1.5 inch collar).
Durability
Like I said in the design section, it is built to last and the material is bomb proof.
