Overall
A pretty good jacket for the price, from a solid and respected brand. Not as flashy as most Saga or Jibberish outerware, but a modest coat that still stands out. If you plan on buying it, be aware it runs slightly larger than the actual size, and that you should keep plenty of shout on hand to get out simple dirt stains.
Performance
The Oakley Sort Lite jacket was a solid, waterproof coat. It kept me warm and dry on most east coast days, except for night skiing, where i would need to through on another layer because I would get to cold. otherwise incredibly waterproof, I used it as a raincoat in April and it held up great!
Design
The jacket's visual appearance is sweet. Its not to flashy, but it attracts plenty of attention. It has a sweet high tech look that suits most skiers. My only gripe is how dirty it gets. Grease stains show easily and won't come out, as well as simple dirt marks. Be prepared to look a little dirty, unless you wash it after every trip to the mountain.
Value
For $240, I feel it was overly priced, however, now they are sold for almost $100 less. I would jump on that price.
Fit
This coat is sold by Oakley, as being their baggy fit. It is a little longer than other jackets of the same size (m), and only slightly wider. It fits well, and has plenty of room to put other shells or liners underneath it for increased warmth.
Durability
After one season of being worn to school, skied in for 40 days, and brought on the plan to Colorado and back, this jacket has proven itself. No rail burns or rips, and it's still in 8/10 condition. The dirt is the only issue, it really stands out.
