Overall
Overall this is a fantastic boot. Good for bigger park riders or someone who wants a comfortable boot to ski all-mtn. They have allowed me to ski full days with no foot pain, something I have never experienced before.
Performance
This boot skied above my expectations. I was hesitant after switching from lange wc 120 race boots but the SPK's perform very well even with the generous fit. The only time I felt a little sloppy was when I was skiing moguls and got going a little fast/ out of control.
Design
The leather wrap on the boot is really cool (in my opinion). They are really unique and stand out on the hill. The 2 buckle design is really convenient and fast. The laced liner system is great too, it really makes the liner fit like a sock so there are no issues with shin bang or pressure points.
Value
I work at a shop and paid cost for these, so 325 bucks was a great deal.
Fit
I wear a sz 10 street shoe and purchased a 27.5. The fit is sooooo comfortable. It is one of the wider ski boots on the market so I have experienced almost no pain, even when breaking them in. There is tons of padding and the gel heel pad is super comfortable.
Characteristics
I am 6'0" 200lbs. and these boots had a great flex for all-mtn and park riding. The flex of 110 is stiff enough to feel comfortable at high speeds and soft enough to allow me to butter and press rails as well.
Durability
I put my boots on in the parking lot and walk to the hill on sand, gravel, pavement, ice, etc... and the toe and heel pads have shown pretty minimal wear. The leather has held up well, only showing small signs of wear around the ankle joint.
