Totally worth it every penny. Buy them at the end of the season to get a good discount. I only paid $295 for mine.
Fit
Amazing fit and so comfortable. But of course you have to have them fitted right. I bought 29.5 mondo (11.5 us[ 12us solomon conversion]) and I wear a size 13 shoe.
Characteristics
90 Flex rating. Perfect for park in my opinion. It flexes so much smoother than a 3 or 4 buckle boot.
Salomon SPK Kreation: If anyone ever tries to put me in a pair of boots thataren't Salomon's latest park boot…I'll punch them in the face. In my mind,Salomon boots have unparalleled comfort, padding and performance built intotheir boots, not to mention a layer of leather that turns old ladies heads’ in Aspen.From a performance standpoint I know that the Kreation might not be as stiff assome other boots out there, but my skiing style has changed over the years. Iski backwards a lot, and am usually on center-mounted skis, even in pow. Thismeans that the slightly more upright stance of the Kreation makes a ton moresense. Being softer it’s more comfortable, and if you're skiing in a relaxed andcentered position like so many do nowadays, then you don't need the extremestiffness offered by the higher end boots. Sure, if you're out on a mission tocharge gnarly steeps, these might not be for you, but when I go out it’s either toride the park or have fun in the trees with my buddies. Nothing beats Salomonboots, and I mean NOTHING. I'll die before putting my foot in anything else.
Couldn't ask for a better boot other than getting them on which is barely a problem. Great boot and amazingly comfy!
Performance
These boots are great because they are great in every category since they work perfectly.
Design
Pretty simple design, the most designed part is the power strap. On one boot the lateral upper-cuff adjustment is red and the outer shell is black while the other boot is the other way around.
Value
I got them for $299 without tax which was the cheapest park boot i could find.
Fit
Fit like a glove. They are a bit difficult to get on but once they are they fit perfectly. They feel great and my toenails don't fall off since my toes are just touching the edge so when i land hard i don't hurt my toes.
Characteristics
Flex is 90 which is great for impact absorption on hitting jumps, getting big air, and landing hard.
Durability
Really comfy and durable to abuse and great at impact absorption.
