When this ski was released it was originally within Moments jib/park family, which probably misled a lot of customers. In reality, this is a stiff and stable charger and it destroys choppy snow like nothing else I have ever skied. That being said, if you are looking for a playful, jib-in-the-pow kind of ski, this is definitely not for you. Also important to note, this ski has full length rocker, so if your used to full camber, or some kind of rocker/camber hybrid, this ski will feel a little different on the hard pack
Ratings:Overall
I really enjoyed this ski this year, I have gotten roughly 36 days on them and they have exceeded my expectations. If you want a powder ski that can do it all the night train is the ski for you, can't wait for next years line up!
Performance
I do most of my skiing in tahoe, and these planks performed great on everything from waist deep powder to skating on ice! I have skied these in the park as well, and they are amazing. Very stable, not very much chatter in the tips even with the rocker.
Design
I think these night trains look bad ass, but last years were prettty siick as well. No complaints about these graphics tho, everyone comments on them in the lift lines!
Value
Steal, its hard to find this kind of quality and workmanship for the price. Plus the guys at moment are hella chill and super friendly.
Fit
I am 6'2" and 155, and these skis are perfect at +4. They definately do not spin as easily as my 180 tahoes, but these skis shred the shit outta everything!
Durability
So far so good, a couple dings from landing on some rocks on the backside of mt. batchelor, but no core shots.
