Overall, good helmet. i know a lot of people out there think that its not cool to wear a helmet but as you progress in skiing it become more important to protect the dome piece.
Only reason this gets an 8 is because the venting on this is not the greatest. just because there is none.
great for cold days but not so much for spring park skiing.
Performance
good brain bucket. thankfully i haven't had any serious wipeouts with this but i feel very comfortable with the durability of it.
have had this for a year now.
Design
the visor on this is pretty dope.
i have heard of people having problems with the goggle clip on the back but so far it has done the job holding them on there. Bern also threw in an extra plastic clip just in case the original one breaks.
the removable beanie liner is nice although it seems to come a little too far down over my forehead
Value
as far as helmets go, Bern tends to be fairly cheaper that the others.
i know Smith and Giro make helmets that can run around 130 but i got my baker for 85.
the cheaper price does not mean a cheaper helmet. i feel just as protected with this as with any other.
Fit
I got this helmet at a store so i was able to try on multiple ones to get the right fit. I went with the large. its snug but there is enough room to trow a beanie on underneath of it.
Durability
ive thrown this around, in and out of cars and what not and it can take a beating.
