if you take a little duct tape over the draining grommet on the inside and outside of the pack the inner pouch becomes totally water proof

Love this back pack. plenty of room for gear, snacks, and shovels.  

Design

the pack is super comfortable to wear and ski around with, loved the ski cross carry it will hold my seths with ease, i dant know if hellbents will fit but there are a few other ways to attach your skis. also it has a device on the side of the pack to hold your shovel for when your  skiing bc and building booters

it's a little spendy for full retail, so i got the pack from speedyshighpreformance.com
but if you want a great pack to take into the bc or just up the the hill then the heli pro is the pack
