Great binding, and if you can find it for a deal, grab em!
Performance
Overall solid binding. I'm very happy with them, and have them on all of my skis...
Design
They look good. My favorite looking binding of all time (get it, "looking"?).
As for feel, clicking in is great. They aren't too heavy because of the open heel, and I feel connected to my skis, which I guess is how it's supposed to feel
Value
They aren't in production anymore, unfortunately. Getboards has them for around 250, which is a little much, IMO. My local shop has them for 200, which is still a bunch, but I don't mind if my parents pay it ;)
If you buy used bindings, which is a great idea so you can save dough, make sure the seller thoroughly checks them out. See my note in durability. That seller was legit and is well liked on here, yet he failed to tell me they were missing a few plastic pieces (not a big deal but I got worried) and obviously missed something on the toepiece.
Characteristics
I like the way these bindings release. If I'm twisting out of them or land funky they'll let me out. The turntable heel helps with this.
I'm 6'0 and 180, and have them set at 7 or 8, I can't remember, but I know it's plenty. I'm definitely an expert skier all mountain, but park I'm so so, but they seem to hold up there for me too.
Durability
I bought one pair from another NSer and first day out I cracked the toe piece out of the plate that mounts to the ski. I suspect that there was already a crack there because I have not had any other problems with them. Other than the occasional paint chip against some rail, they've held up well.
