Some of his most recent posts show him skiing on an unreleased pair of Armadas possibly part of the Declivity line. Could this be part of Max's move away from the competition scene after having an unlucky 2024 comp season, failing to make the cut for the FWT finals? But it seems strange for Max to leave so soon after receiving a pro model graphic for the Sender-Free 110.

My guess is that after deciding not to compete for the 2025 season and releasing some pretty fire edits on YouTube. the move made sense for both parties. With Armada also trying to build more of a freeride team, they likely provided a more enticing offer than Rossignol did after finding out that Max won't be competing on the FWT this season.
