We don’t have many gay potential Olympic participants – despite rumors – and no one would be so mad as to give up their chances at having the first ever Olympic champion in freeskiing. But, just for the hell of it, let’s entertain the idea… What parts of freeskiing would risk our event at Sochi?
Ladies and Gentlemen: The photos are in! We are very proud of the entries for our fifth Facebook Photo comp and we love you all for getting involved, but let’s face it, some photos are better than others. So now is your time to vote!
The British freeski scene is flourishing. With parks open year-round and the high standard of riding making it big on the world stage, it is becoming a massive trend among kids looking for a new recreation. Will Tucker discusses what it is like to ski the Kingdom.
You might have heard already about the King of Greens, the first international golf tournament for professional action sports athletes. It will be held at Golfclub Gut Thailing near Munich on June 25, 2013. The freeski scene will be represented by a handful of our favorite athletes, one of these is PK Hunder. The relationship between freeskiing and golfing seems to get more and more popular, so we decided to look into it ourselves and ask PK about his interests in the sport.
This winter I had the chance to visit Chechina and it turned out to be the craziest trip of my life so far. Take a look at the report including many great images:
Anyone who thinks that freestyle skiing has taken a serious turn on the road to the Olympics is sadly mistaken… Fuck that! We still share the founding anti-morals of our ancestors and those attitudes are being passed down to the machines of today.

By all measures the 2013 Austrian Freeski Open by Atomic has outshone previous years with an unreal slopestyle course, great organization, pristine weather and possibly the best competitive freeskiing witnessed on Austrian soil.
The weather couldn’t have been worse in today’s qualifier for the FIS World Cup and Olympic test in Sochi. Persistent rain, which turned into heavy snow, affected the halfpipe all day. That, coupled with long intermittent course holds due to fog covering the top of the course with an impenetrable mist has lead to the day so far to be quite miserable (so please excuse any emerging negativity from this writer).
It was another day for freeski history books here at Zermatt, Switzerland during the third edition of the Swatch Skiers Cup.
Before tomorrow the final decision at the Swatch Skiers Cup 2013 will arrive, check out what went down during the Big Mountain Day. So far Team Americas is leading with 11:5 against Team Americas.
