I also Love the Peace Sign stickers you see around miSOULla. There was a great view of the Peace Sign on Waterworks Hill from all my K-5 gradeshool classrooms. When I got severe shin splints in high school track & xc, I grew to love running and biking uphill (my roots of loving backcountry ascents) and the Peace Sign was my favorite intervals spot. About the same time the Peace Sign was removed in 2001, I had to have an emergency laprascopy surgery for undiagnosable abdominal pain.
