Winter camping and deep powder skiing. 3 metres of snow as a base and nonstop puking for 5 days. What a trip. British Columbia, of course.
Bushwacks, bootpacks, rappels and a few ski turns. A lot of sidestepping, some call it skiing. Two comrades, one splitboarder trying his luck on skis, second one cutting weight by losing his helmet and chopping off his finger. An all time crew living the alpine dream. Ski mountaineering edit from Rogers Pass, BC.
"Gliding below the clouds, back towards the valley's edge; the human foot print on the mountain quickly grows. Humans and human creations cover the mountain side, like a giant white ants nest, bustling with activity. Warning: not a ski film, but a timelapse film. Don't crucify me yet; a lot of this footage was captured while skiing in the backcountry, filming ski movies and traveling to ski destinations. It is a timelapse film capturing landscapes, mostly mountains in British Columbia. Other destinations are New Zealand and Norway. Hopefully you'll like it!
