runforlove2024If by park you mean the whole mountain then yes it is your playground.
brownetownWhat’s life in driggs like? Targhee has always been on my list of places to spend a season but not sure how I’d mesh with super rural Idaho
oldmanski@cydwhit and @SendyMcSendyface may have some input to your questions and more about living in Driggs. I think others have hit the nail on the head describing the park, terrain and Targhee in general. I'd imagine you will dig the area once you find a place to stay and may make it permanent, lol. Snow from heaven, not hoses.
SendyMcSendyfaceSo, we got a new park manager last year, and he's sick as fuck. He's putting in a bunch of work to expand the park, including adding a second park on Peaked (potentially coming this year). Dude has some solid fab skills, and disappears every year to build the xgames setup, so he knows what he's doing. We had a sick setup last year, and this winter is probably gonna be even better. However, its not a park oriented mountain. Between the terrain and the snowfall, why ride park when everything else is so good. @LarsonSkis777 are you planning on working at the mountain this year?

LonelyI would love to live in driggs but housing seems fucked. It really doesn't seem like Victor is much better.
Where does everyone live?
LarsonSkis777Really thinking about it. Just want to figure what it’s going to be like before I commit to it.

PeppermillRenoIts not super rural its basically another Jackson on the other side of the pass but everything closes at 10pm and there isn't a big post card town center full of tourists.
If you find a decent housing sitch absolutely go for it. I know JHMR is making their workers bus over an hour these days Targhee might have something at the base. You should be able to swing a road trip or two to some sick hills 3-4 hours away as well bc you're an hour closer to everything than you'd be in Jackson.
