Steel City Showdown 2023

As many of us already know, Vail has taken over at Seven Springs. They have kept the parks the same as seasons past which is a sigh of relief for the local community. As we approach the new year it has me thinking about one of the biggest events in skiing rn. Is Steel City Showdown going to continue under the new management? I'm sure there are some people out there in the community who have received news or rumor about the plan for this year. If you are one of these people, or just want to share your opinion, drop it below.
If last season is the last time the event will happen, I'm stoked I got to ride in it and meet some cool ass people along the way.

Not a local but I love watching this event every year. Hope this can continue this it's been a good run and it's nice to see rail jams back on the rise again.

Vail is notorious for hating events so I wouldn't be surprised if they got rid of it. Even big events like dew tour and US open. Vail resorts generally do little to no events. Some do the USASA but that's about it.

That said rail jams are pretty pretty quick and easy to set up and tear down. Idk

No steel city showdown... but were doing some events for mountain dew, and toyota. Tom will still be involved with at least one rail jam in the foggy bowl (if we can make enough snow there) but nothing like the previous SCS.

Very much hoping to make Steel City Showdown happen again! New ownership at Seven Springs is stoked on the event and into the idea of us hosting a large rail event! Unfortunately the event is not happening in 2023 but I'm looking forward to helping it return next season! Helping Toyota host a Rail Jam event on Feb 25th at Seven Springs. Should be the start of bigger and better things to come! So come out on the 25th, ride, compete and support!

everything has been ready to go for a while now, we just keep getting screwed on the weather.. we've barely even had a dusting at my place all season.. Hopefully feb/march bring us a big storm!
