Max.broI really can’t wait for the preseason parks to come out and have everyone say “Omg preseason is the best season” like dude no you’re fooling yourself. There’s no way you can say that one tube, one handrail and one spine is the best shit since sliced bread, stop fooling yourself
junior1derfulPreseason is the best season in regards to stoke. After months of not skiing, that rocky and muddy pvc setup with 3 inches of snow will get me sooooo fired up.
AlaskaDogfartGot the termination dust creeping down the mountain- local got 2 inches at the summit yesterday- Feels like winter already
timdrachanthe entirety of the east coast absolutely tight after you mentioning snow, we know we got a solid 2 months til resorts open
pinkcamo1000october at the river or killington is not unheard of, was common before covid. And the loaf always opens in Nov.
But yeah my local doesn't open until 12/26 usually lol :(
QuaggyI'm waiting for the 21/22 "Binding Mount Mishap" thread

lil.Boyestoked as hell, but kinda scared about not being able to ski that much this season because of school, potential work and being with friends. have to drive 50 mins to get to the hill and i don't have a car. will try my best to be a weekend warrior at best and get some evenings when i have the time.
i have so many tricks in my head i wanna try and i have the motivation to ski real hard and learn lot's of tricks. hoping things work out for me
hope everybody will have a great season
junior1derfulMy buddy harry got more days in than anybody I know in the 19/20 season without a car. He used to walk for 30/40 minutes into town to hitch hike. He probably got up to the mountain 3/4 days a week, all while being in school, working, and still making it to every party haha. Not saying everybody can do this, but if you're determined enough to ski, you'll make it happen one way or another. Hope this inspired you a bit

animator2 maybe 3 seasons ago I was skiing killington on October 13th
pinkcamo1000I remember that year I think the river opened super early too, I distinctly remember skiing and there was still leaves on the trees
SendyMcSendyfaceDrove up to the mountain to get my pass, always gets me so fired up to see the aspens turning. Little nervous about this season ngl, I have the bad habit of going too hard too early, when I'm still outta shape, and the tide is still low, and fucking myself up.
ReturnToMonkeyI mean you gotta live up to your name
