What’re the fattest skis you have true center mounted?
Just for fun, I’m wondering what are the fattest skis you have center mounted and ride park on? Pics/ videos appreciated… anyone core enough to center mount magic Js and k fed ?
Kfed on Magic J is not core. Magic J is not for rails, please no ski Magic J on rails, they are made for powder and do not deserve to die on rails. I have Magic Js, the mount point is already pretty progressive, you do not need to center mount.
I have a pair of KF Layzerblades (133-115-133) that are center mounted that sometimes make it into the park when I don't feel like going back to get my transfers.
I have my Catamaran 120's true centered, but it was a mounting mistake and I initially didn't want it like that. Nevertheless, I can't complain, theyre still fun as shit
Mounted JJ Zeros with Kingpins at -.5cm. Went on a trip and didn't bring any park skis. They now have 15 edge cracks. Dull your edges before hitting rails kids.
Profahoben_212I had a pair of 13(?) Bentchetler 192s that had to be center mounted due to too many holes. 123 underfoot and fun as hell in the park/squaw slush.
I had my Bentchetlers mounted true center with touring frame bindings when i bought them on release. I was a young lad when I put these on, but they made for a great time spinning in the backcountry when I didn't know any better. Skied them for like 5 years like that.
Sold the frames, and put on some Sth2s at the -2.5 line nowadays.
EightsailsGiving me flash backs to having to go to Red to ski park since Whitewater had nothing back in the day. I remember that vert wall like a fever dream...
Stickiest wallride ever haha. There was an older dude who used to roll into the park and just send the wallride to the top and hold on to the framing on top and chill for a couple minutes before dropping into the very variable tranny.

Sean Pettit mounted his there. When I had a Pettitor in high school I center mounted them, so fucking fun. Also center mounted a Majesty Superior (115) which was also super fun.
The only way to really mount the hellbents was true center. Anything else is blasphemy. Not sure if they upped from first year but the these hellbents are 132 underfoot, not 122 like someone already posted. Easily one of the best skis ever made.
Why isn’t there anything like this now a days? I think I would swipe my card on sight…

I have my 2020 Bentchetler 120s center mounted with pivots. They have like -2cm recommended so it's not a big deal really.
They are the funnest ski for late spring slush park lapping.

They went from 120 to 122 to 132 and they may have even been skinnier than 120 originally
I dead-center mounted a pair of Surface New Lifes a long time ago. Never rode park but damn I beat the shit out of those skis doing all sorts of dumb stuff.
