Any tips for a dub 7? I really want to try one but i don’t know how to set for it, is it like a super flipy cork 3, just add another 3 or something else, please I need to know.

mikemacI can’t dub but I’m prettttyyyy darn sure dub sev is just about the most tech trick in the book....
a proper “feet to the wall” cork 3 is typically harder than/learned after cork 5s and 7s because it’s the same axis just way slower and floatier..... generally requiring greater core strength and takeoff/pop control.... less huck n pray
the dub sev you just need a massive jump and you gotta do one of the most technical tricks twice in one air..... and float/stall out both quarks
Everyone’s different and obvi there’s some self taught newschool swervers just on a totally different level but I’m pretty sure most ppl learn dub 9, 10, and even 12 before dub 7 because it just takes so much goddamn patience and control... similar to these “air pretzels” we’ve been seeing.... it’s not the biggest spin but it’s insanely difficult
at least that’s what I took away from a few seasons working with some super talented academy level slope coaches who had coached kids in dew tour and xgames
