Specifically made this account just to address this issue at my home hill.
Recently their has been a certain kid ive known for a while within a large group of friends that i ski with. The kid has been a straight douche bag too me. Acts like he is the top ship and his shit smells like roses. This is a problem that has been really hard to deal with because I cannot really talk to my friends about it because they are also friends with him. Keep in mind this kid is also a really good skier at my hill. (top 3). Everyone wants to be friends with this kid cuz hes "popular" "cool". Ever since last year when some drama happened. He would always say shit in front of the group ab me to get everyone to basically make a massive circus out of me. I tried speaking to friends about it , but they say hes only joking. I know for a fact he is not joking and hes using "joking" as a cover to not look like a douche bag bully. Ive avoided going to the hill solely cuz of this kid. My skill has decreased while others progress with out me. another problem with it is ill try talking to my friends about it but then they go and blab their mouth at the hill in front of everyone. The rest of the group im super chill with and well know. Whenever the kid is not their ill send and do whatever and talk loud n shit and have fun. Soon as the kid shows up I usually try and dip away to another part of the hill away from the park with a small group of friends. Usually using excuses like lets go hit woods runs n stuff. The reason this kid is mad at me and says shit ab me is because around this time last year our friend group was preparing for a trip to Colorado for 6 days. This kid and his friend are straight stoners also, his other friend did hard drugs such as LSD and shit like that. They decided to say they were going to sneak weed in my parents car when they ride with us to Colorado. They kept relentlessly saying they will. Me being the smart individual not wanting my parent to have charges on his record and possibly end up in prison I manned up and told them about it. My dad thought nothing of it and said he would make sure they wouldn't bring any. My mom on the other hand decided to call the church group we were associated with going to Colorado with. Tell them the whole story and how they were going to bring drugs. THIS completely fucked me in the ass. Although she never admitted it. The church group then had some big meeting saying no drugs n they will check bags n stuff. From then on the kid has been a total asshole and none else says anything about it. Even though multiple people contact me about it and say yo i heard "so and so" seemed pissed at you or something. Keep in mind this is THE most passive aggressive douche bag personality kid you could meet in your life. Always whispering behind your back, convincing your current friends to tell him shit to use against me etc. I'm lost and don't know what to do, I'm really on the verge of just wanting to not go anymore and quit skiing.
