Getting snow here on friday, hills don't open for another 45ish days but you can bet I'll be hiking my own rail setup as soon as there's a couple cm on the ground. I'm very hyped to be skiing again.
I'm coming into this season with 1999 energy. I don't care if your home mountain has a awful park with barely hittable features, we are throwing down regardless this season like we're in PBP 13

Hell yeah dude i just checked my local forecast looks like we might get a few cms of snow midweek. Gonna be sick to whip real snow instead of msnow haha
Park crew members at bittersweet have been refreshing the rail collection and moving them out towards the hill. If this winter is like the last three snowmaking should start in a month.

I agree, the stupid bench skiing is going out the window but real tricks with new style seems to be the deal now.

feel you dude! I’m in regional vic so I did manage to get a few days of boot packing up a hotham but it’s not the same without my mates. so keen for next season.
my local ski hill just dropped passes at midnight with no warning, none of my homies or I got passes. idk what to do unless they make more. now I have to drive two and a half hrs every time I wanna ski. fuck. everyone who got passes is def gonna ski 3 times this yr
I was going to be a pilot in college so I was scared to get hurt. Since then I have changed major and this season is going to be a fuck it just yuck it kinda year. Also opened up my folder of ski montages that I have since started watching in preparation for the season.

According to my boss season pass sales at bittersweet are way up this year. Not surprised with more people rushing into outdoor sports. Ski school will be reservation only during weekdays and shortened hours on weekends. Not sure how I feel about that yet. On the bright side snowmaking prep has started.
I'm way too pumped to ski. Been out on rink snow a few times to scratch the itch, but it has only aroused my appetite. I have a new pair of ARV 116s I got on sale which I'm stoked to tour on. I'm not sure where I'm going to be this season, there are 3 main options I'm weighing but whatever happens, it's going to be the best season yet.
I've been doing a lot of mountain biking, cutting and forwarding firewood by hand and also physio on my bum shoulder to be strong going into the season. 975892975016

this sounds weird but im living for those days at the resort when its like 3 days after a storm, bluebird, not many people out cuz everyone skis strictly powdays in UT, and its chalky and decently soft.

Have to say, creating my season music playlist is certainly one of the best parts of the preseason to keep stoke high. Nothing better than listening to songs you haven't heard in years
Storage wax has been scraped, all my skis are re waxed (might get bored and do it again), all outerwear washed and re water proofed in nix wax, mittens treated with snow seal, ski racks back on car, local hill is supposed to open in less than 20 days (not happening) and a condo booked for a week in killington in February (please don’t kill my vibe @WoFIowz I really wanna go to VT). All the prep work is done just need snow.
Somehow wasn't able to convince a single BC resort to hire me, so I'm stuck slinging wax in Ontario. Gonna get a Glen pass though, and become a telemark rail god. Might make it out to Quebec or BC for March. Hopefully I won't get as depressed as I did the last time I was stuck here. Would really like to find some homies around me that ski though, all my boys are still in Idaho. If any of yall are gonna be ripping Glen or MLM, hmu!
