tricks that i personally do not enjoy watching:
caribous, double broken slides, hippie killers, sw "tail butters" that are just reverts to forwards, any variation of screaming semen, and obviously daffy butters.

Especially if you consider a "skier method" a tweaked safety. That's become my favorite straight air to watch and attempt. I'm unflexible af and I've started stretching solely to try and nail down a method on skis

War and Ski Porn are both movies that have some banger segments but I have a hard time watching those movies start to finish these days. Idk I feel like they haven't aged as well as the PBP movies from a couple years before before (Happy Dayz, Propoganda) or the movies just after (EDIAS, Revolver etc.) Maybe it's the soundtrack, but I also feel like the mid 2000s were a weird time in skiing...no dubs or rockered skis yet, but not the huck-and-pray mentality of the early 2000s either.

i hear you dude. part of it is probably nostalgia but happy dayz and propaganda hold up better imo

some great segments in there though like you said. mid-career candide and pep in his jumping prime come to mind

I'm not a big Ski Porn guy but i fucking LOVE War.

This is me tbh. spinning fast just doesn't compute. I can do all kinds of different grabs though, I do them fast, slow, stalled, buttered, big small, corked, upright, left, right, switch.... It's OK to have something dialed in

If you switch Pizza we have big problems. Someone post the old CR Johnson SW carve when he skied in Big Air. Makes it look so clean coming into the jump. One of the greatest SW carves out.
