you're just going to spin around in two circles. It feels good but I'd recommend really pimping out your 3's and 5's and switch 3's and switch 5's instead (working on carving switch and popping switch for those).
Progression can come fast but really becoming smooth with the basics is a better skill in the longrun.
Start by focusing on carving and popping your 3's. Trying out all sorts of new grabs in three's and holding those grabs. Truckdriver, Japan, true nose, shifty to blunt.

is what will really progress your skiing in the right direction instead of just getting your mind set on penciling around your first 720.
Carving, popping, setting tricks right, and air awareness are the real skills you want. As you figure that stuff out, learning a 7 will be as easy as learning a 10 (just more spinning).
