Cocky Redheads in Revolver (minus walker)

Start rant...

So i watched revolver a couple weeks ago.  There was something that really irritated me: Sammy Carlson and Dane Tudor had the worst attitudes ever.  Not only was Dane's segment too long, but it seemed that the whole time he was saying  and acting how sweet and awesome he was.  Also, Sammy seemed like the cockiest person ever.  He acted so full of himself that it made me sick.  I previously respected Sammy, but after seeing him act like he was the bees knees and better than everybody else made me lose respect.  Those guys are living the dream and are amazing athletes.  Don't you think they should have some humbleness and humility?

So NS what do you think?  Did you feel the same way?

i got the chance to meet dane and he is a rlly great guy, not cocky at all and i had a brief conversation with sammy, and he seems super chill so...

I'd like to know what made you say that about both of them because they both talked very briefly in their segments. Sammy just said "It ain't Saturday (a humerous, obvious reference to EDIAS)" and "Got no job". Those statements both gave me the vibe that Sammy just loves skiing and life in general. Dane basically said nothing and just smiled every so often toward the camera which gave me the exact same vibe. Dane's segment was a bit lengthy, but it didn't get boring. Well, at least not to me. Sammy had one of my favorite segments. This has to be a troll.

Also, as mentioned earlier, why so much hate for Revolver? I enjoyed it. ALOT of powder, but if you didn't want to see powder, then why did you buy it? It was very obvious from the trailer that there would be oodles and oodles of pow.

Unrelated, but I'm so pumped for NetWork.

Well after reading all of these responses, I'd like to say I've thought about it some more.  Some of you have met these guys and gotten good impressions.  I know it's not fair to judge just by the movie segment, and I'm wrong by doing that.  I am really just saying I interpreted the segment that in a negative way.

And Dane is a pretty nice, approachable dude. Saw him at the Washougal National this summer and went up and talked to him, not really cocky. But with a name like Midwest Jibbin I can see how after watching sammy and dane ski the places they go you would get a little jealous.

i really would like to hear some examples of this cockiness you speak of.

but i've met both sammy and dane, dane was stoked to talk to us, really chill talked about pbp and stuff. Seemed truly happy to talk to us. Sammy was the same way, just skied up "hey whats up guys" then proceeded to follow us in the jump line.

both are really chill dudes. Sammy is just always happy, if you think thats cockiness i feel sorry for you

Tudor had one of the best segs in the movie and did some awesome shit on a snowmobile and Carlson acted exactly like he does in every movie and comp and every time you see him.

I ment sammey once for real life at Jib Academy and although I don't actualy know him he seamed like a real cool guy and was chill as fuck to me. All i could do was 180s lol and he didnt act like he was better then me!?

I love how you idiots continuously post statements like this. Just because your friend is a jabroni doesn't mean Dane is an asshole. If you say what up to someone like Dane or Sammy and be real with them they are gonna be real back to you, it's not that difficult of a concept to grasp.

Neither Sammy C or Dane are cocky, they are pumped on life because they ski, ski, party, and ski, so yes i think its okay that they are happy and pumped and more adj. i can't think of

Pretty bullshit thread if you ask me. I know people who met dane and sammy at the revolver premiers and they said that sammy and dane are some of the most down to earth and nicest people ever. They are just stoked to be making it big doing something they love. Don't we all want to do that?

Sadly this is true, but so did a whole hell of a lot of other people would snake in line.

Either way, as a ginger, I am sadden by the title of this thread have we not gotten past hair color for discrimination?  This is where i wish I had youtube skills and found those two videos...one with the angry ginger and the other with epic music playing.

i am going to have to disagree completely. first of neither of the them are gingers. the only one i really noticed was walker and he was awesome (obviously). neither of them seemed to be very cocky either. m not entirely sure you were actually watching revolver.
