Flatspin question

Are there different variations of flatspins because I notice that they can go different ways like one way is your skis parallel like = or the other way your skis go like II

like a flatspin but one variation is as if you are laying on your back on the ground and spinning and the other as if you are laying on your side and spinning ya know?

a true flat spin is called a skodeo... invented by Skogen Sprang in 99..

ok, i think i get what you're asking. you'll probably understand my little ski examples, but i'm not sure if everyone else will.

alright, in a true flatspin, your side should be aiming towards the ground, and your body should be doing a motion similar to a backflip. your skis, like you said, should be like this: =

when your skis are like ||, it's a rodeo.

however, nobody really does true flatspins. in most, they end up doing something in between a flatspin and a rodeo, and it ends up with skis like this: \\, or maybe closer to a flatspin.

hopefully that helped, it can get pretty confusing.
