We teamed up with the folks at @sunshinevillage in Banff (@ShredSSV ) for a third annual King & Queen of the Park contest! So if you’re riding, or have ridden at Sunshine this winter, it’s time to get those clips together.

The rules are simple:

1) Submit your best three (3) tricks filmed in terrain parks at Banff Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard Resort, with recognizable landmarks identifying Banff Sunshine's parks.
2) You may edit together multiple different clips (your run doesn’t need to be continuous). Entries can only be a maximum of one minute long!
3) Multiple angles may be used, but at least one clip of each trick must show the full trick from takeoff to landing.
4) Only raw audio files may be used. No music or sound effects allowed. The contest has two stages, the first for submitting entries, and the second for voting and judging.

Stage One (Entries): From the contest opening date on May 1, 2023 at 12:01 AM EST to May 14, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST.
Stage Two (Voting and Judging): May 15, 2023 at 12:01 AM EST to the contest closing date on May 19, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST.


Judging:

Our judges will follow this criteria:
25% Creativity of Video
25% Public Voting
50% Overall Impression of Video

Eligibility: To enter this contest, you must be the age of majority in your home province at the time of your submission and be a legal resident of Canada (excluding residents of Quebec).

Prizes:
Queen of the Park: $1,000 CAD
King of the Park: $1,000 CAD
