how much time do you guys get out of it average from a full charge? i think there is something wrong with mine...it barely lasts 2 hrs...

is it new, because a lot of times the first few times you recharge it doesnt give you the full battery power. that happened to my friend with a mini it hardly lasted at all for the first week or so.

my friend had his 20g ipod out in the cold for a day and then the battery stopped working...so take your chances

Everything losses battery power in the cold. My cell phone goes down fast but it should come back once it warms up.

I had mine out skiing today, the high was like 32, and it still has 3 bars left, and I had it on from 9:00 to around 4:30.

yeah, it just needs to be warmer, its a pain, but when it does go dead, you can get a longer life battery for like 30 bucks vs 100 from apple, hit me up and ill try to find the name if your intersted. i did it, and my ipod 3rd gen gets about 12 hrs of battery life.

my mini gets a full days work. no problemo. i was prob. skiing 32º around so it wasnt tooo cold. it's in farenheit for all the canadians in the shizzle. its 0º for u canucks, sorry to transfer it.

naw man. Tjhe first generation min's only have 8 hours battery life. I used my g/f's on sunday, with full batter, barely lasted me a few runs. The second generation on the other hand, which will be relased march 25th, have 18 hours battery life, a lot longer and will be good for at least a whole day skiing. Return that piece of shit.

helpful: within 1 yr of purchase, u may send ur ipod back to apple under the warrenty and get an new one free. if it is over the 2 yr limit, u may send urs in (even if it is not broken) and get a new one but u must pay $100. if the battery power is less than 50%its original compacity, and it is not more than 2 yrs old, u may send it in and get a new one free. over 2 yrs old, i think ur screwed
