Coming down from a marijuana high

I am 18, just in case that makes any difference. So whenever I smoke pot I usually do it by myself or with one other person since most of my friends are squares and don't smoke.

Anyways, fast forward to a couple hours later when I'm coming down... My friends always get pissed off at me and shit just because they'll say something and I have to correct them or give my two cents because they're definitely wrong or adding onto the story. Generally in this particular situation they become upset. After becoming upset, they'll immediately call me out on it saying "Ope, it looks like Mitch is coming down from his high now and he's in his asshole/pissy mood.".
Another situation while coming down is that my friends become annoying, so I'll just ignore them and not talk or tell them off. Again, they become upset and call me out on it.

I have asked them what exactly it is that I do to annoy them and they always give me vague descriptions/explanations. One of them said it's not just me coming down, but that fact that I'm tired, and related it to a baby being tired, pissy, and crying. Still vague and unhelpful.

On a good note, one of my friends isn't bothered by it at all.

Let me know if I'm not clear enough about what I have mentioned above.

I have a couple questions to ask...

- Does this happen to anyone else? (Possibly in a different or similar way)
- Does your friend do something like what I do that annoys you?
- What happens in your mood and such when you're coming down?
- How do you stop being this way? (Without stopping smoking)
- Maybe it's my friends?

that used to happen to me too, then I started lacing my weed with crushed up thizz. And it hasn't happened since. hope that helped :)

idk i have 1 friend that whenever he's around me and im high he pisses me off 24/7 and makes me wanna punch him. i dont think that helps tho so sorry.

I usually smoke every weekend around them, but not always. And I would say 90% of the time we all become pissed off at each other. When I don't smoke or anything I'm just off the walls and myself. But I also have mad ADHD and so I normally take my pill. Anyways, they always get all pissy when I take my vyvanse too because I act like a normal person by being calm, motivated, and focused. So I can never win I guess.

im in like the same situation with my girlfriend kinda haha whenever im coming down from a high and were hanging out she always calls me out on being like lazy or in a bad mood or something dumb, she doesnt really get that mad shes just fucking annoying

you're mentally dependent on marijuana. Take a break. When you get pissy like that it's a sign of dependance basically.

The worst that can happen with weed is that you can get angry really easily after not smoking, and are bored. Also some people shake for awhile.

true the shakes were the worst. Luckily I went to detox and they helped ease me off the thc. Sobriety is tough man, do your best

In my experiences weed (or drugs in general) lowers peoples tolerances for things they don't like. especially in the latter half of the high... or even without it when you smoke heavily. Usually this shows when people dont wanna go to class and skip, shit like that. but i feel like this also affects you in alot of other ways. you dont wanna listen to music you dont like, dont wanna be around people you dont like, dont wanna listen to dumb stories... etc. It affects everyone who smokes, some worse than others. but usually its pretty subtle.

I feel like this might describe whats going on. Or your friends are douchebags.

The trick I usually do is to lock myself in my room all weekend with some food and a bucket. Best way to detox in my opinion. I just wish I didn't have such stupid wallpaper...

Smoking bud is something I do by myself. Anti social drug in my opinion. It turns me into a zombie.

Drinking beer is what I do with my mates. Waaaaaay more enjoyable than smoking with each other.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE cannabis, but my brain just goes into zombie anti social mode when I'm around people so I save it for special "me" time, haha.
