Gaper Day should be a Public Holiday

Everyone should get the day off work/ school to celebrate this most sacred of days. And not just Gaper Day weekend, but April 1st, International Gaper Day

Or observance of Gaper Day should be a legitimate excuse for missing either of the aforementioned activities.

Other religions are allowed time off to observe their holy days, why not skiers?

very true. but sometimes weather can effect it. like park citys. we are currently getting shat on with snow and its continuing into tommorrow. so its being pushed to saturday. this whole week should be gaper day. International Celebration of Skiing & gapers week

You don't even have to go skiing. Just a day to at home, watch ski movies, wax skis, wear tall tees to the store, and generally think about how great skiing is.
