Gopro footage + adobe premiere cs4

Ridiculous

hey guys so i just got my gopro footage on my computer... and for some reason it only shows up as audio on cs4. has anyone else had this problem? do i need to convert the footage? thanks for any help

you can change the .mp4 extension to .mov and it will import. it just pulls up a different script for importing movs.

I just tried this and it let me import but now I'm seeing my video as a black screen.
