Ski choices... What do you guys think?

I ski everywhere on the mountain. i need some thing that is responsive, popable, but isnt too fat.

my choices right now are

4frnt msp

4frnt tnk

k2 kung fujas

line afterbangs

i know the afterbangs wont be too good in the outback but great in park,  i really like 4frnt's designs and ive always been interested in them. i have k2 silencers riht now and they just fell apart after one season so im starting to rethink my k2 decision.

What do you people think?

Afterbands for all mtn? Sounds to me like u want the Line Chronics bud. They are all mtn skis but rip the park too.

or the volkl wall
stiffer ski, but when they say that, they mostly mean torsional stiffness. it still has plenty of pop, a good flex for all mountain, and great edge hold.

its a symmetrical ski so it will kill in the park, but the flex is great for everything else on the mountain. plus it will float some in the pow with an 87mm waist(?)

why only those models? you should ask people what they think you should get. afterbangs arent a good all mountain ski

but on a serious note, i ride similarly to what you said you do and i love my bluehouse districts. if you're not set in stone on the ones you posted, you should look into them.

super bomber, super light, 111 underfoot for the 187's, 108 for the 176's, they rip hard and the company is the best i have dealt with as far as customer service in any industry, not just skiing.

of the skis you posted def go with the K2 Fujas...great all mountain shredder with a little bit of rocker and a good overall construction.

extremes, trust me. Silencers are made with cap and extremes and made with vertical sidewall, so they will be noticeably different in the durability, go with k2

Have you checked out 333skis.com? It's fucking awesome. If you know what you want to do, and know what you're talking about, it's relatively easy to build your ultimate ski.

Seems like this should be in gear talk. 4Frnt have awesome designs but my favorite all mountain ski would have to be the Armada ARV.

if ur lookin for all mtn, in terms of Line at least u'd definitely want to opt with the chronics over afterbangs... the whole concept behind the afterbang is a ski thats mad durable so u could abuse those babies with less damage than u'll see on almost any other skis that are our there... the Line Chronics and Blends are both skis designed to kill it everywhere

Hahaha I skied K2 silencers last year too. I went with the afterbangs for this season(and probably many seasons to come) because al I ski is park due to living on the ice coast.

Scott Punishers. Great all mountain ski. Super durable bases and topsheets. Awesome skiing switch and at 126 in the tip, fat enough to handle some pow skiing. If you can't afford a park ski and a pow ski, I think the Punishers would be and good one ski quiver choice.

i skied volkl walls all last year and theyre sick in the park and crazy good when it comes to buttering, but they didnt really carve as well as i hoped they would on groomers and didnt really float at all in the pow. i just picked up a pair of 2010 line chronics cuz i was looking for the same thing you were (like 50% park and 50% mountain) and i really couldnt be any happier. they do everything, so you could  think about getting those.

From what i've heard about moment skis they would be proper for you. im deciding between the reno jibs or the rockers. if your doing bc i would suggest the rockers because they do have some rocker in them.
