Hey Everybody,
Thanks for logging in and checking out the movie! I really apologize to all of you who ran into glitching and sync problems. Apparently this stream worked great for some people and not so great for others. What I've learned from this project as well as watching other online premieres this year is that it's definitely the future but possibly a little ahead of the technology. I think what happened in this instance is all of us logged on at once and used up all go211's bandwidth and those of us with slower internet connections suffered. It's a bummer for sure but the good news is the film will be available to watch for free with a unique code that red bull is producing and I'm being told they will be sending out that code to everyone who logged in at go211 to watch the film within the next half hour. Logging in meaning you actually gave go211 your e-mail address. This stream should be of much higher quality!
The stream will be available at redbullskiing.com/transitions over the next couple months to watch at your convenience as long as you can come across one of these codes. They plan on distributing the codes in a number of creative ways so keep your eye out for them floating around. if you want to get your hands on a hard copy of the film head over to poorboyz.com and pick up a copy of the award-winning 'Everyday is a Saturday' and receive a free bonus disc. We will also be doing a chapter podcast release with Freeskier over the next couple months.
The distribution plan behind this project is to get as many people as possible to see it for free while exploring all the different avenues and opportunities to accomplish that. Eventually after these initial avenues have been explored the movie will be available for free on demand. The action sports film businesses is ever changing and this is my case study on distribution platforms. Thanks for bearing with me.
Riley
