classic rock you know bands like Creedence Clearwater Revival, Boston, Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young, Bruce Springsteen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc.
I don't know about you all, but I grew up on this stuff and love it to death.
post your thoughts fav classic rock bands anything that comes to mind.
.38 special, Van Morrison, Steve Miller Band, Van Halen, Rush, Cream, The Band!! to name some more great music!
I wish kids on here would start using bands like this in there edits, and bump these tunes in their headphones on the hill. I think we'd have a more respectful group on the hill that didn't think they were the shit.

i don't know that bands like Metallica, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Van Halen, Motley Crue, and AC/DC fit the genre of classic rock, but maybe that's just me. I'd consider those bands more 80's rock and roll. Either way, I think they're all awesome.
Personally, when I think of classic rock, I think of The Beatles, The Who, Led Zepplin, Janis Joplin, Lynrd Skynrd, The Dead, Hendrix, The Doors, Pink Floyd, etc. and I love all of them. They all had such an influential role in transforming the music industry into what we know today. I don't know how one can't appreciate all of them.

If you're looking for an argument from me on this one, you've come to the wrong dude. Metallica is probably one of my all time favorite bands. (Aside from the whole music downloading fiasco.) I couldn't agree with you more.
And how awesome would it be to see Steven Tyler slaughter those fucking douche bags?
