So did anyone else get an email from a Marueen saying they found you through Newschoolers and wants to get in contact or something? There's no links in it so doesnt seem to be a virus, just seems a bit odd?

Shit I knew there was a thread I was forgetting to make... Yeah I've gotten a few of these, not too much recently. Best bet is t delete them (which I always do). They are just like the ones posted. I assumed there was nothing to worry about as long as I never open them or respond-- am I wrong though or am I at risk?

There is no danger from these, no virus attachments etc. They are an annoying phishing ploy hoping someone gets suckered in and starts interacting with them. Best thing to do is delete and ignore. We would NEVER give you addresses out to something like this, these are people who are paid in pennies a day to look at profiles online and copy email addresses.

Just got one from Jennifer or w/e. The wierd thing is, about a week ago I got an email trying to recover my password, which I never lost. That is how she got the email address, b/c in my profile it says jwenz@newschoolers.com not my actuall address. Weird

Yeah funny after I see this thread, I just got this one. It came in under this email address: baby.jenifer@idiva.com , not the other one as listed, so just keep your eyes open. This is the first one that has been labeled as spam though.
