like countries like germany and america are supposedly not sharing the wealth to all the poor people in africa who are starving. Well just because lots of smart people built lots of great technology does that make us evil?  Like I feel bad for people starving in africa, but whenever we give them food, instead of reading a book and learning something, they fuck eachother and have 20 more children that they cant feed.  And whenever we give them money or power they murder eachother over it. Im really sick of tv shows making it seem like americans are so greedy and shit. Like what are we supposed to do send cars and tvs and air conditioners over to billions of people in africa?  fuck that i think africa was a much prettier place before stupid fucking missionaries went over destroying the unique cultures and giving them technology to destroy the rainforest and bring plastic to get littered everywhere

basically- germans, you deserve to drive your porsches and mercedes

Your posts are so fucking ignorant dude.  There are not billions of people in Africa.  Not all of Africa is poor, it's just the parts you are commonly seeing on TV.  They don't want TV, cars, or air conditioning, they just want some help because they ended up in this deep hole.  Just stop posting.  You have never made one educated post the whole time you have been on NS.

Oh, BTW, the U.S. isn't so hot right now.  We are in debt up to our eyeballs.  When we had money we spent it.  If we had 100 million hanging around, instead of saving, the government spent it on helping countries like Africa, so now we owe China billions of dollars.  Now we tried saving companies instead of letting them die like they should have.  It's like natural selection, if you don't have the traits to survive, you should not survive.  Obama and Bush decided they should help these companies survive, while instead they just fell even harder.  This was inevitable.  So we are not "the world's richest or most powerful country" anymore.  That was a little off topic, but we do not have much money to be dumping into other countries.

The man is correct.  There are lots of nice parts to Africa too.  You just never hear about them.  You just hear news reports about pirates, AIDS, drought, and lack of food.  It's like my city.  There is a highway (99) from Sacramento down to Bakersfield and I am in between those two cities, I live in Fresno.  Well if you were to drive through Fresno on just the 99 all you would see is a shitty ass, industrial part of town.  However, if you got off 99 and went  a few miles Northeast, you would be where I live, which is a very nice part of town.  My house is not a million, but my neighborhood is on a golf course with some easily $2million homes in it.  So, my point is, if you were to drive down just highway 99, without getting off you would view Fresno as a ghetto ass industrial town.  You have to see the other side.  You only know what you have seen.

South Africa is nice...  my dad almost decided to live thter.  Parts of Egypt (except now with that war/just bad stuff going on there) is usually good.  Kenya has good decent hard working people, its not uber amazingly luxury but they are surviving...

Yes.  There is a difference between Africans and African Americans.  A kid at my school who came from Africa has a 4.0 and his dad is a doctor.  He's not the typical black guy, who acts like an idiot and tries to be hood.  When my bro cut open his leg he went to an African doctor, and the guy did an excellent job stitching him up.  Africans come to America to actually make a good living and work hard.  That kid tells me about how nice the part of Africa was that he lived in.  South Africa is a really nice place, I think it has really severe droughts though (my geography book could be incorrect).

that part is very true. I know several African immigrants and they are all hard working good people. But supposedly it's near impossible to get a work visa to come here. It's sad when there are so many immigrants from countries other than mexico who are actually decent people that don't get to come and make America a better place because of all the welfare abusing lazy fucks. But I agree with the OP in not "wasting" our resources on other countries.

I actually agree with that.  Mexicans are lazy as fuck.  They do all the shitty work we don't want to do (i.e. pick fruit, garden, farmwork).  So really, we are equally as lazy as the Mexicans, if not lazier, that is why we have all these illegals that are doing work for cheap.  Let's look at it this way.  Your gardner and his crew of two others are illegal.  They came over and had an anchor baby and live off of welfare.  They cut your grass and shit for cheap, but then, you end up paying more in your taxes to support them.  So really, they end up costing equal or more as some english speaking white gardner who is legal and charges more.  People only look at one side of things and are VERY ignorant.  Blacks born here are definitely lazy though.

say missionaries fuck things up over there is such a small minded thing to say, i spent a year in sierra leone and in CAR working with people over there and i like to think we saved some people who were staving because of the western world plunging aid money into the country and the cash going straight to the goverment that fuck things up for the locals more. trade embargos only hurt one group and thats the locals who were doing nothing wrong and the goverment runs them off thier land to grow crops for themselves because the western world wont let any food into the country.
sure some of the countries are screwed and the western world has a responsibility to help them (remember who plundered africa for diamonds, rubber and slaves)

Black and African American do not mean the same thing. Have you ever met a person born in Africa that wasn't black, or a person born outside of Africa that was black?

Well that's a fault in America.  Who can blame the Mexicans?  They are just making money with these opportunities that Americans are too high and mighty to take.  Some people (like my d-bag uncle) would rather take wellfare and do nothing than take a job a Mickey D's to pay the bills.  Our retarded idea that everyone needs money thrown at them regardless of how hard they work is a big issue that annoys the hell out of me in this country.

Oh, and for once the French kid has a point about Africa (probably not so generalized on the whole continent, but ya I know what you meant).  My roommate grew up in Cameroon until he was 18, so he always enjoys these threads :)  Most of the people who visit and try to make it better just encourage the poor economies.  There are tons of people in his village who could work, but choose not to since rich white people come by and give money to make themselves feel good inside.  Or they give money to some guy who says he's helping the area as a charity when he is really a drug trafficker lying to the ignorant tourist.  It gets fucked up.

PS: South Africa is not a good example of Africa.  At all.  That is one tiny part.
