i dont understand this show. it looks like they just zoom around and harass the walers. but not even in a kool way, they just drive thier little boats up close and get run over. do they plan to get aboard and shoot playas? or wat? obviously they cant really do any thing hard core cuz its on tv. idk

i just looked at the site for the show or what ever, and im more convinced that it just looks silly, the collest thing they did was bump boats. idk this show just seems way to over dramatized. way tooo over dramatized and just silly.

it is so over dramatized but some of the things they do are so stupidly funny. Like I remember one episode they boarded the ship on the intent to get kidnapped and held as prisoners so that they could get national attention to the cause.

The show is so thug and I can't wait until it comes back friday.

Heres the shows premise. A certain number of whales can be killed for research and none of the whale can be wasted to the wales are cut up and sold. The whale wars crew thinks they are taking advantage of that rule and many other laws so they straight up piratize in the southern seas.

on the promo, one of the battles looked ridiculous. Did someone hit their boat?

I think whaling is fucking incredibly wrong....

but the people on that boat are like the definition of incompetent.  Show is a bit entertaining, but mostly because you are just shaking your head the whole time at them.

Sea Shepard has been part of some cool stuff, like the shark stuff in the documentary Shark Water, which is great, but the guy who runs it is totally crazy and manipulative and watching this show, you really get to see that.  Plus all the idiots who get on board, like I said, are just as incompetent as you can get.

the thing that i find truly stupid about it is they drive up to the side of the whaling ship, jump on (they have this all on video by the way), and when the whalers find them and surround them the activist people start yelling they were kidnapped but one of the idiots still has the camera with him that shows them coming to the side of the boat and getting on....

ax men (while i watch it cause i do log in the summer) has nothing but a bunch of fucking DOUCHEBAG crews...  jesus christ.  some of the crap on that show that they do are things that the guys i work for say almost specifically NOT to do.


and while i dont like whaling its something that the Japanese, Native Americans, Sweds, and Icelantic people all do....  plus what the people on the whale wars thing are so fucking stupid.  board the ship, and then when the whalers zip tie them and shit they yell they were kidnapped while they have it on tape them getting on the boat....  soo fucking stupid.

morally maybe....  but there is a thing in that charter that they can kill x number of whales for scientific purposes and if a group says they are doing a scientific study there isnt really anything they can do.  its a loophole yes but its there.  and im half japanese and have been to japan and i have never seen whale meat for sale anywhere in markets or restaurants....
