Are Line skis really undurable?????

i have head a ton about line skis being very undurable. i was wondering if this is true??? or not.......

line had some topsheet issues with the invaders the year they came out, but other than that there are no issues I know about.  I've been riding a pair of chronic blends for 3 seasons now and besides some minor chips and normal wear they've held up pretty well.  I would definitely recommend Line skis to anyone.

line is amazing, ive been riding them for 3 year and havent had any isses...and if you do have issues just call em and they will most likely replace em...there a really chill company

completely wrong. ive riden on line invaders for the past 2 years and ive done rails...boxes...jumps.. ive even been backcountry in powder and hit branches and one time i landed on a fallen log under powder... no joke.... and there still completely fine i would jsut recommend high end bindings if ur gunna go park and etc

I broke a pair of blends this year. They were anything but chill when i sent them back for warranty. They had no more skis so I got fucked with a shop credit. I really liked the blends but they were quite "underable"

Yeah well my brother broke his this years chronics like after a month of use..  He snapped the left tip ski..

Here is how. The shovel of the ski delammed to the core. No impact at all
I sent them in.
They took their sweet time deciding to warranty them
Once they finally decided to honor their warranty they dicked around for a week
Meanwhile I called them on nearly a daily basis
They finally told me they had no skis
I asked if they could put me on hold and call the shop for credit
They told me no that is not how they do things
called the shop the next day and asked if he heard from line
his response - no
luckily he is a very chill guy and told him the situation he gave me the credit right away
I asked him if people had the same issues and he said in the past no but this year they seemed to be lacking in customer service

this is why i blame line

i garuntee that if you make another thread but with another brands name instead of Line's, you will get the same stories of skis breaking. thats part of the sport. even back when Line had "problems" mine didnt, and i never saw any issues. plus you get kids calling delam on tehir skis whens its really just teh topsheet chipping. my chronics and invaders have gone through everything, hitting trees, rocks, skiing over the driveway, rails jumps you name it. barely any scratches on the bases, some topsheet chipping but that happens on all skis, no broken edges.

Im probably not the best person to talk about line, since I havent had any since the 1260 was out.. and have only been on a few pairs since.

but seeing the ones that a few of my buddies ride, they seem to be pretty solid.. especially the chronics, and the 3 pollard skis. I'm sure the prophets are too, seeing as they are actually not really even Line skis, but rather, they are Karhus with a cooler topsheet haha.

I did spend a few days on anthems early last year though, just to try out some symmetrical skis. They were alright for jibbing and really easy to butter with, but they didnt really want to haul ass, or hold a precise edge. They seemed kinda heavy too... but that doesnt really say much about their "durableness" haha.

i've owned prophet 90's, prophet 100's, bacons, and prophet 130's and landed on rocks, skied them hard, hit trees on them, done tons of core shot worthy things and i've never had them get a major injury, the worst damage i've ever seen on line skis that i've owned is about a millimeter deep base scratch. so from my experience they're bombproof

I have beaten up on my Line SFBs all season in any conditions for 20+ days so far and nothing at all has gone wrong, love them to death.  A good friend of mine can also vouch having 60+ days on EP Pros with no issues at all.

first off, I love my Bacons, they are one of my favorite skis. Recently I had to send my park skis in to get warrantied so my bacons became my new park ski for the time being. I have to say they are a lot of fun in the park but the edges are a little ridiculous, Ive riden them for 2 1/2 weeks maybe a total of 10 times and there are edge cracks everywhere, then a 6 inch section is about to come out right underfoot. These skis were not railed hard at all. The only rails I have hit have been flat or up then a hand ful of d-f-d boxes. Compairitivley my watch lifes were skied a season and a half hitting every type of rail you can imagine and they are only missing an inch of edge. Still love them, but Id stay away from metal objects.

I'm pretty nice with my gear usually, but not so much with my invaders. They have held up for 2 seasons of park riding really well. I'm super impressed with them. I don't ride a whole lot though. Maybe 30-40 days on those skis last season.

yes, they can be quite undurable if you ski them hard. mine havent de-lamd yet (knock on wood), but ive seen so many pairs of delam'd lines its scary...topsheets are really soft on the cap construction ones as well (anthem + invader)

but then again they are the best park ski out there imo...so much great technology in one ski

I love my Chronics.
they have been holding up well this season,
only some shitty topsheet chips,
bases are bombproof,
and edges are pretty good, with only a few edge cracks from this season
and hitting every rail in sight.

ive had anthems for half a year so far, and theyre holding out.  the base and edges are mad strong, but the topsheet is a little soft. overall, no complaints

I've had my Anthems for a year so far and thier holding up great, of course the normal wear and tear on the top sheet, but its not very bad at all

still look just as beautiful as the day and i got em' and they absoluty KILL the park
