Come with standard skinny brakes.  Salomons bend easily though.  See the youtube video below for a good brake bending demo.

^probably. i know my shop won't even adjust the din on bindings that are on that list, let alone mount them

997s are indemnified to my knowledge, 957s aren't, but if you can't adjust your own DIN you probably don't need a 14-din, all metal binding.
And if you know the shop, or take in a sixer of good beer, you'd be amazed what they'll mount.
