The official date for the launch of Firefox 3 is June 17, 2008, named "Download Day 2008." Firefox will be aiming to set the record for most software downloads in 24 hours. People can make pledges that say that they will download Firefox 3 at spreadfirefox.com. As of June 17, 2008, more than 1.7 million people have pledged to download Firefox 3.[128]

Download Day officially starts at 10:00 a.m. PDT on June 17.[129] With the announced date, the download day is June 18 for timezones greater than GMT +6, which includes half of Asia and all of Oceania.

for all those having problems with the main site, its just a shit load of traffic, download it at the FTP site here:
http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.0/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%203.0.exe


I am using it as of right now. I assume the site should be full of trafic for the next bit but you should be able to d-load it fine from that linke. ENJOY

oh my god, the back button is round. ITS ROUND

when i used to type "f" into the address bar, it would come up with sites starting with F, in order of how much i visitied it. so i could press F, press the down button and it would be facebook, or type in N and it would come up with NS automatically, but now, if i type in f, or fa, it'll come up with like "backcountry.com/northface" or something, and it really pisses me off

well i finally made it to the mozilla page, after several refreshes. i click download firefox 3, and what do i get?? firefox 2, except after i installed it thinking it was mistitled or something it didnt even work!

gay! im typing from IE right now
