YEah, but really it is relevant... because it includes your question... how long are your poles, the guy even asked how tall relative to body...

Sure it includes the extraineous info of how much they spent, but I feel like you could probably discern what you wanted to know from all that extra knowledge...

They are about 5 inches below my belly button.

44", theyre about an inch below my belly button

for size they are about 3in taller than my waist.

39.99 and they go up to my belly button

i was always taught that your poles should be long enough that when you hold them vertical your arm's should be at a right angle.

im about 5'7 5'8 and my poles are to about my mid thigh for park. so like 38? then for pow i have bigger poles that go about an inch above my waist so about 44?

I think the "right angle while holding the basket" is a throwback to the days before parabolic skis. That was the standard when I was younger and it led to much longer poles than I use now. Parabolic skis have led to a wider, more aggressive stance and as such, have shortened the optimal length for poles, I think.

worrd i disagree

poles are used as a tool to transition your weight and initate a turn, parabolic skis havent changed the nessecary lenght for this purpose, its just people dont like them much any more.

Actually. The pole just helps me drive when I'm skating and if the pole was shorter or longer skating would be mad uncomfertable.

i cant stand poles over 36 inches. I used to rock long poles when i was a kid, but starting about 6 years ago i really preferred shorter poles to the point now where I use about 34" for everything. I'm 5'8", so they're a tad lower than my waist. They also have to have little swing weight, so they need to be thin.

i use poles in powder and on big jumps they are about 3 inchs higher than my hips. i started skiing without poles in the park this year and really liked it. its just one less thing to worry about bring to the mountain or breaking. i have broken a lot of poles lol

i'm 5'6" and i've got 115cm poles. i think they are just a tiny bit too big, i also think it doesn't matter much though. on a simmilar note, don't you just hate t how poles get scratched so much?

5'7"- 48" poles for all mountain skiing cause it actually makes sense to have that size and then something like 36" poles for park cause i think shorter poles look better in the park and they're better for spinning and stuff

6 foot 2 my poles are 46 i think. idk i cut them down but didnt measure length just cut them to where they were comfy. they are dof not park steeze poles but that annoys me when i have them like that
