for a mostly powder ski, not really for crazy charging but just jibbing around and stuff would you choose the ep pros or hellbents? or mabye something like live life 2's? i know alot of people have ridden hellbents but not many have ridden the ep pro's that i know of.
i agree with the other kid you should go with the invaders, the other two are just to "phat" and really arent good for powder the real reason that they make "phat" skis is so they can show up better on film, Eric Pollard actually only rides invaders.
haha i knew when i was typing it that everyone would accuse me of being a idiot, dont worry i think EP's are sick and i really want them, i have anthems now so i understand the point in wider skis and im thinking about lizzies for next year
Would definitely go with the EP Pros. Have been using them as my all mt ski since I got my hands on them at the end of last season. The side cut they put on them gives you enough edge hold to rally them on the hard packed. In the pow you get ridiculous float front or switch. Definitely a ski you want to ride over the balls of your feet cuz they are soft enough to shoot out from underneath you if you get too far forward or back.
Loads of fun, get'em, rip'em, rock'em.
i think it all depends on how much you weigh also
i picked up both helbent and ep pro and me personnaly being 210 lbs
would not feel safe on the ep its really thin and by far the softest ski i have ever felt
where as the hellbent seems a little burlier in the construction and a bit stiffer aswell
my 2cents
I rode my buddies HBs the other day on some decent pow and they were sick, but I have the Pollards on order. So I'll let you know the difference when I find out. By the way, anyone that lives in Steamboat on here we are getting hit hard starting tonight... saying like 2ft+ POW POW!!!!
I got the 189 Hell Bent and I love it for what it is meant for. I have also been enjoying it all mountain, but it doesn't do real well at speed on groomers. Speed in pow...oh yeah!
