i was there sunday and they have the new rails in the rail fun park, theres a wall ride, a c box and some rails and some trapazoid thing, big money on new stuff
what was posted above is what's up right now. fiddlers is no longer a park, moonshadow may not be either, can't remember. Foxfire will be the main park run now.
to the post in response to mine see i heard just the opposite was going to happen and they were movin stuff back oh well hopefully we will find out soon enough
just got back from my first trip to HV, it was a lot of fun minus the anal safety patrol who were glad to see me go back to PA, the rails on firefox were very smooth i was just a little frustrated with how it was mapped out. thanks to those that posted the park features!
Bottom of Foxfire:
Battleship rail set up as a flat-down-more down
Triple barrel rail
c-box
battleship box
Take offs were a bit small, especially on the c-box. I'm sure due to all of the rain sunday.
Bottom of Mardi Gras:
Small rail
Small Butterbox
New, big butterbox
wallride (not open, needed to be dug out)
This week should be one of the better christmas weeks in recent memory. Hopefully there will be more features as the week goes on. I saw some snowmakers and the park guy scoping out foxfire. The old C-box is also sitting at the top of morningstar.
there will be the smith limo jam if you want to do that but it is supposed to be warm and rainy from time to time from thursday afternoon thru late sunday but it should be fun if you go
The park on mardi gras was redone, the only new feature is a flat box with urban takeoffs so far. The barrel is also back now with a gap from the lip to the barrel. Didn't get to hit it as it opened later in the day.
I don't know too much about the lodging around e-ville but the telemark motel (cadillac Jacks), right across the raod from the inn at holiday valley may be the best bet. There are a couple options in Salamanca or Springville, both about 1/2 hour away
Unfortunately that's what happens when it's 65 degrees for 2 days and you're still building your base. Main trails survived, but connecting trails got trashed.
KB does not have the snowmaking to build a massive base, and the warmups kill them.
thats sick will foxfire be open to hit sunday even tho theres that comp? im not doin the comp becuase u have to regestur for ususa or w/e and its 75 dollars
yea? it will be open right after the comp. but im probably not enterin either.. expensive and theyre only lettin 25 skiers compete.. but its supposed to be huge, and a bunch of redbull gear. should be sick to film/watch
