Ok, when did newschool skiing quit being gay

I would say the year of ski movie 3. Before that most newschool skiing consisted of shitty underground rap, gay tricks( prove most of the tricks thrown in a pre 2002 ski film are stylish and not gay, i dare you) and guys like rex thomas with technicolor dyedSPIKED hair. Skiing was pretty gay compared to today back then.

Are you really comparing skiing style now to skiing style in 2002? Quit torturing yourself with ridiculous comparisons and appreciate skiing for what it was then and what it is now. We all realize that skiing progressed in the past decade.

Yeah, that's pretty gay how they had fun and paved the way for you to make narrow-minded judgements. Back then skiing was about skiing, and you have made it painfully clear that it's about image now. I loved the way skiing was in the early 00's, back when we were all together as skiers. Now that everyone has divided into their own little sect skiing has--pardon my cliche--lost its soul. Sure, we've come a long way since then and the lines and tricks that are being done are a lot bigger and more technical now, but at the same time a lot of people have developed an attitude for some reason (cough).
