Yeah, I think that rodeos have been thrown a lot lately. I've not only seen a lot in person recently, but there are a lot of them in this years movies.
rodeos have been around forever, and are still around, and will continue to do so.
as far as tips go, pretend your back is a turtle shell, and spin on it. then stomp the shit out of it.
abma does some sick ones in some of the older PBP movies. kyler does a sick ass one in photoplay by t3. its off a step down in grizzly, it was way better in person.
Even better question can you do them? haha, But i have no clue how to explain them, they can be done so many different ways. One way i do it with a 5 is to take off like a backflip, then immideately after that, drop your shoulder like doing a lincoln loop. Thats basically all i do, i dont know how much that helps
if you spin left punch your right hand forward and about halfway through your full extension start turning your hand over to the right until your palm is facing completly up. while your doing this you should be looking over your left shoulder and leaning back and you will do a rodeo. i know it sounds weird but it will work 100% of ther time if you do it smoothly
Get your backflips solid, then when you go for a rodeo, fully commit, throw back to the side and like spin at the same time.. and pop off the lip, not halfway up the takeoff or your screwed like me :)
theres this local ripper, pretty unknown, i think his name is carl vanular. anyways... he does really nice rodeos. lots of them. over channel gaps and onto rails and with multiple grabs and shifties.
you just need to spin and drop your shoulder off the lip and have your weight back . If you look for the ground and throw yourself that way you just keep watching the ground and you come around. Why don't people answer these questions/
i just learnt em on tramps, fun trick. the way i learned was to start it like a lincoln, but be sure that you open up and face the opposite direction as you come down..for 5's
^haha dude I think thats what hes tryin to say. rodeo and misty are kind of the same. misty u do a front, and rodeo u do a back. they are opposites but they are based on the same rotation or axis u throw the trick on.
how do you set your rodeos? i set mine like a backflip except i aim my right knee at my left shoulder an dthen just keep looking over my left shoulder. i would be interested in hearing a different method because mine feel sorta weird
i set mine exactly like i would set a lincoln, if u toss a safety or mute grab and hold it while slowly turning ur upper body uphill you'll come around to rodeo 5
^ yeah i do that a lot...i thought that that was more like an overflip or lincoln 180 though. when i throw those i just sort of lean to the right pop off the lip and turn my back downhill- feels really smooth. I don't think that's a rodeo though...definetly doesn't feel like a back 540.
