Ipod battery help

i have a green mini thats over a year old i think... i skied with it all winter so now the battery is fucked up like I'll charge it for over 12 hours and it will last for about 15 minutes. I heard you can buy new batteries for like $25 and get a nerd to install it . help ?

try the apple store to trade up. they should give you like 100$ credit towards another one

naw fuck it i bought a battery off an ebay store for $10 shipped... comes with everything to install it and says it will last 15% longer than the original brand new bat

dude ship it back to apple if its under warrenty they send u same ipod but brand new, if its not pay them 50 bucks and they send u same ipod but brand new, ive done it 3 times with my gen. 2 ipod the one with 4 buttons on top

yeah they sent me a box and all that ship it was a year ago, but it was worth it, idk tell me how changing the bat. yourself goes i might need to do it soon

i replaced the battery on my 3rd gen and it works dandy now. i highly recomend just switchin batteries. idk how to do it on a mini though
