ok i know theres been an aboundance of threads on rodeos, but how do u do them?all the thread were what they were..how do i do them, and i need to learn flatspins
dont let people tell upi that it is a backflip or lincoln with a spin. its not. think about throwing a mute over your shoulder kindof. i dont know. just try it. you will figure it out fast enough
wait till youget in the air and spin. you can carve off the lip as you get more comfortable. but dont try to spin before you get in the air or you will fail miserably
I did flat spins on water ramps for a while, then they changed to rodeos, then they changed back to flats. Honestly I can only do one at a time. I couldnt do a flat then go do rodeo the next jump. They're so similar yet different. I know the difference in the set for some reason I just can't do then different. You just need to play around with it and you'll get one of the 2 after a few flaming crashes
i think its pretty much an off axis backflip with a spin, like inbetween a lincoln and backflip then with a spin. when i do them on a trampoline i try to spin 180 firt and get kinda horizontal while looking up and to the left over my left shoulder, then i tuck my knees and bring my arms together and finish the rotation then land. im not sure if that helps, i really dont know exactly what i do i just kept trying it till i got it. at first i was just doing a lincoln 180 which is pretty easy to learn then i tried spinning faster and doing a little more of a backflip.
I learned them by first doing lincolns, then after i could do those, i just started to spin as i was coming around from my lincoln, and after awhile bam, rodeos.
off axis flat spin? yeah that makes sense dumbass, just because you dont go completly inverted doesnt mean you dont do a lincoln, u can be sideways and do a lincoln, how the hell do u think you do a flatspin? Because its a off axis rodeo, which is a linoln with a spin
yes it is man, fucking people need to understand what it is, it may not LOOK like one but the rotation is. When you can do one right, then you will realize you are lincolning, just on a differnet axis.
the rotation is definately not. i can see why you say it is, but i have done a bunch and the roation is not anything like a lincoln. its more in y our waist and feet than any other trick
To do a rodeo, (say you're going to do it to the left, cuz that's the way almost everyone does it) first you gotta take your right arm and put your hand right by your pocket. Then as you take off you throw your right arm up and acorssed your body, kind of towards your left shoulder. As you do this, you gotta lean forward and roll you upper body to the left, so that your right hand never reaches your left shoulder. Finally, twist your legs allong with your upper body, and then it just kind of happens. i ind it makes it easier if you do right handed grabs, like chronics, or mutes.
chill we all love in here. I just throw a lincoln harder and i spin automaitically its kinda weird but it works. Then if you want the 7 instead of 5 makes sure you make that look over the shoulder or you will die.
i have never figured out what you actrually wanna throw when you are doing it wether lincon or back , lincon makes more sence tho if you think abuot it. but when i was beign told to do them , Errol as, look at the horizon of yout shoulder off the jump
seth morrison rodeos look like a lincoln loop with a spin. John Mcmurray's rodeo i saw does not. So my opinion so far is it depends on how you do ur rodeo, you can either drop it straight under and inverted which will give you a lincoln loop feel or not so far and not so inverted which reminds me of a flatspin feel.
