Huge respect to my good friend Jossi for well and truly joining the ranks of Freeski royalty. After ticking every possible box around the globe to earn this status, back at his home resort Cardrona Alpine Resort, NZ he now hosts easily one of the raddest, truest and incredibly well attended events of the year. Jam session style and rider judged, with perfect weather and no time constraints, world class features and attendance from almost all freeski & snowboard’s current Jedi Masters, the fourth annual, deservedly named Jossi Wells Invitational just happened and with another year it was another huge success!
Thank you so much Jossi, Cardrona, Wanaka and Queenstown for hosting us and to everybody who made this blindingly thrilling event happen. What a treat it was to watch the world’s best unleash their furious talent under Tom’s Rock, no holds barred as a nod of respect to the man Mr. Wells who brought everyone down to his home on this beautiful spit of land hanging onto the bottom of the world. Certainly TC casts an eye each year to grace this spectacle of an event.
