KANPAÏ - 乾杯

published Jan 2019 - 653 views

KANPAÏ (literally meaning "dry glass" or "dry the glass", is the Japanese word for "cheers" in a drinking toast).

This short feature is our toast in honour of powder skiing in Japan.

In febuary 2018, we travelled to Akakura which is a small ski town situated at the base of Myōkō San, in the Niigata prefecture on the main island of Honshu, Japan. We spent two weeks in the area and skied some of the best snow we have ever laid eyes on!
Thanks to all who helped make this adventure possible!
