In late September, my good buddy, Antone LeBard, and I set out on a journey Down Under to New Zealand. Our trip was amazing and we could not have asked for better weather the entire time we were there. My plan was to compete in the Slopestyle and Big Mountain portions of the New Zealand Freeski Open, but with the spring like conditions and lack of fresh snow, I decided to compete in slopestyle only. After the contest, it was perfect filming conditions for the rest of our trip. We took full advantage and managed to rack up enough footage for this compilation. I'd like to give a big thank you to Antone for being a great friend and going on this journey with me and being the most dedicated filmer I have ever seen. You're killing it man! I'd also like to thank the man, Brad Prosser, for letting us stay with him, showing us a great time, filming, and being an all around great friend. Thank you so much for everything, man! The song used in this edit is one that struck me the moment I heard it. It's called Runnin' by David Dallas, a big hip hop artist in New Zealand, and it was introduced to me on a car ride back from the mountain one day. Thanks for showing me this song, Angus! I wanted to use a kiwi song for this project and this was the perfect fit. Enjoy!
